- Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the propagation of finite amplitude shear waves superimposed on a homogeneous static biaxial stretch in a Mooney–Rivlin viscoelastic material. Several exact solutions are derived. Among these solutions are analogues of some classical motions of Navier–Stokes equations and some finite amplitude SH waves.
