- Abstract
The article discusses the recommendations by the U.S. Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) concerning the use of quadrivalent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine in boys aged 11 or 12 years old, as well as in males aged 13-22 years old who are not yet vaccinated or did not complete the three-dose series. The effects of the vaccinations were assessed through the use of the Grading Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) approach. The vaccine was authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
