- Abstract
The article presents a retrospective study which examined immunocompetent adult patients with Burkitt lymphoma/leukemia (BL), based on chart review. The patients were treated using a technique developed by the German Multicenter Study Group for the Treatment of Adult ALL (GMALL), which used various drugs such as steroids, cyclophosphamide and methotrexate. It was found that there was substantial toxicity in these drugs, with two incidents of death in patients.
