- Abstract
The article describes the case of a male patient who underwent a second kidney transplant for end-stage renal failure secondary to immunoglobulin A (IgA) nephropathy. Particular focus is given to his induction therapy and dosing regimen. Weight loss, thrush and worsening renal function are cited as the patient's symptoms. Also mentioned are presence of HIV-1 antibodies, plasma viral load and antiretroviral treatment.
