- Authors

- Abstract
It is emphasized that in order to characterize the degree of modernization of agrarian structures, several quantitative methods should be used. Nowadays, the average size is considered the most popular measure. It is highlighted that this measure is not sufficiently rigorous. Starting from this factual, the paper presents how to value numerically the degree of concentration with the use of the Gini coefficient. In the same time, it is presented the practical utility of determining the concentration coefficient of surfaces in large size exploitations through the interpolation method.
