- Abstract
The article focuses on the study that investigates the relationship between electronic medical record (EMR) usage and diabetes care quality in a sample of family medicine practices. The researchers have conducted a cross-sectional analyses from 50 practices' baseline data participating in a practice improvement study. The study determined that EMR application in primary care practices is insufficient for insuring high-quality diabetes care.
