- Abstract
The article focuses on the complication on the use of bile duct injury (BDI), a laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and the complication leads to significant morbidity if unrecornized. It notes the use of operative cholangiography (OC) to confirm biliary anatomy and detect bile duct stones. The role of OC in preventing BDI has been debated always.
