- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 66-year-old male complaining of intermittent abdominal pain and distension. Topics include gastric ulcer revealed from esophagogastroduodenoscopy, stenotic and edematous segment of jejunum located from the ligament of Treitz and eosinophilic infiltration in the entire layer of the bowel wall. Other topics include persistent eosinophilia after surgery and steroids effective for all types of eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders such as gastroenteritis.
