The War Surgeon.
- Abstract
A reprint of the article "The War Surgeon," which appeared in a December 1942 issue of the journal, is presented. The surgical treatment of war-related wounds is addressed, along with the "War Medicine" publication which is believed to have been written by J. M. T. Finney in 1917, the roles of military surgeons, and the various elements that comprise what the author refers to as good surgery. A lack of surgical antiseptics during war is also mentioned, along with incisions and patient care.
