- Abstract
Introducción La lesión ureteral es una de las complicaciones más frecuentes durante la cirugía pélvica ginecológica con una incidencia global de aproximadamente del 0.08% (95% CI 0.07-0.10). La incidencia de lesión durante la resección de masa anexial es del 0.09%. Se presenta el caso clínico de la resección de una masa anexial en contacto directo con el ureter y su elevado riesgo de lesión. Caso Clínico: Paciente de 49 años remitida de consulta externa para control por hallazgo de masa anexial. Niega síntomas de alarma. Reporte ecográfico: hacia anexo derecho se visualiza imagen quística multilobulada de 76x56x62mm para un volumen de 142cm3 con un lóbulo dominante, con área sólida en su interior de 19x17mm. Antecedentes de importancia: histerectomía abdominal, cesárea segmentarias # 3. Paraclínicos adicionales: marcadores tumorales negativos. Se programa para resección de masa por laparoscopia. Conclusión La lesión inadvertida del uréter durante la resección de masas anexiales puede suceder de manera fácil por lo que el conocimiento de la anatomía y de la experiencia del cirujano va a influenciar en el resultado final de la paciente.
