- Abstract
The article presents case studies of a black male who have RH genotype due to anti-D identified in his plasma and an 86-year-old white male who was undergoing a knee surgery and presented with e typing discrepancy. Topics discussed include blood samples having mutant allele and presenting with a red blood cell phenotype, null alleles resulting from diverse molecular mechanisms, and isolation of genomic deoxyribonucleic acid from white blood cells.
