- Abstract
Accordingly, the rhizome, flower and leaf essential oils of I M. verrucosa i consisted of 22, 18, and 17 compounds, respectively in which they were characterized by large quantities of cyclofenchene (42.8, 47.8, and 44.7%), I i -pinene (19.7, 20.6, and 19.8%), I i -ocimene (22.9, 22.9, and 25.8%). The antimicrobial effects of the essential oils of I M. verrucosa i flowers and rhizomes were performed by using fifteen tested bacteria and four fungal strains (Table 2). The data in Table 1 provided the chemical constituents of the essential oils obtained from the rhizomes, flowers, leaves and roots of I M. verrucosa i .
