- Authors
Young Jr., William F.
- Abstract
The author reflects on the clinical implications of primary aldosteronism, an adrenal disease caused by renin-independent adrenal hypersecretion of aldosterone. He explains that this kind of disease needs immediate intervention particularly the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to demonstrate the appearance of adrenal morphology in patients. The author also explains some diseases associated with primary aldosteronism.
