- Abstract
In this article the authors discuss using conservation science to solve conservation problems. Topics include a perspective on conservation from the British wild bird and environmental charity the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), which is the reversal of biodiversity loss and the sustainable management of natural resources, the way the RSPB meets its objectives, such as raising public awareness, and the influence of applied ecological science in conservation success.
