- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 35-year old Trinidadian woman who was presented with complications generated with the uptake of misoprostol drug to induce an abortion. Topics discussed include diagnosis of Crohn's colitis complicated by Clostridium difficile infection, treatment options such as intestinal microbiota transplantation, and sub-total colectomy, and risk of mortality with the infection when associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
