- Authors
Santiapillai, Charles
- Abstract
In this article the author focuses on the ivory of the African elephants which is used for trade. He states that the visible ivory part of the tusk of the elephant is composed of dentine with an outer layer of enamel which makes the ivory economically valuable. He points out that the ivory of the elephant should be permitted to be traded internationally so that African states would be able to profit on their own natural resources.
