- Abstract
The article offers a research letter that explores the experiences of women that work in academic emergency medicine. Particular focus is given to disparities in both compensation and management. Additional topics discussed include individual and institutional barriers for women, the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Equity Research Taskforce, and the responsibilities of Chairs when dealing with these problems.
