- Abstract
The article provides information and data about the U.S. women who douche. It has been found that thirty seven percent of the U.S. women douche regularly. According to the 1988 National Survey of Family Growth, education has an important effect on douching behavior. Women who did not complete high school were more likely to douche regularly as compared to those who had completed college. Substantial race-related differences were also found as black women are more likely to douche regularly than the white women.
