- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a male patient presented with progressive nasal block and difficulty in breathing. It shows that brain herniation represents a mechanical displacement of normal brain tissue, cerebrospinal fluid, and blood vessels outside the anatomical compartment that they normally occupied. It suggests that cerebrospinal (CSF) diversion followed by a multi-layered skull base repair led to a permanent and complete cure of the patient.
