- Abstract
The article focuses on the importance of river flow archives which hold vital information for assessment of past hydrological variability, and support hydrological modelling of future changes. It aims to demonstrate large-scale river flow datasets that are crucial to advance hydrological science and to propose ways to consolidate historical data and secure future river flow data. It also mentions that WMO Global Runoff Data Centre (GRDC) is one of the examples of databases.
