Outbreak Investigation When a COVID-19 outbreak in the psychiatric hospital was noticed, psychiatrists and physicians of the Ministry of Health and Welfare were dispatched to triage patients. Among the 102 confirmed patients (including one deceased patient), seven died of COVID-19 by April 20, 2020, resulting in the case fatality ratio of 6.9%.
