- Abstract
The article evaluates the effects of formalin footbathing on the prevalence of foot lesions under Indian farming conditions. Formalin footbaths have been widely adopted in western countries due to their bactericidal and astringent properties. After the completion of the trial period, all the animals were rescored for rear leg view, lameness and frequency of various lesions, and given functional hoof trimming.
