- Abstract
The article presents the result of a study which examined the genetic polymorphism of multiple myeloma (MM) and healthy Japanese individuals between 1998 and 2006. The researchers speculated on the possibility that TP53 codon 72 polymorphism is associated with MM and cancer risk and development. They used fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) and polymerase chain reaction (PCR) as tools. and progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS) and post-relapse survival as variables.
