- Abstract
In view of the problem of high detection limit of Perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA)in textiles,the inport derivatization-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(GC/MS)method was developed for the determination of PFOA.Solid phase extraction(SPE)was used to extract PFOA in textiles,and the TBAH was used as a derivative reagent via an in situ pyrolytic alkylation reaction which occurred in the GC injector.Finally the derivative of butyl-PFOA was detected by GC/MS.The method was linear over a range from 0.5 mg/L to 50 mg/L with the correlation coefficient 0.999 7. The recoveries were 86.2%,94.9%,99.3% respectively,and the relative standard deviation(RSD)is less than 5.4%,the method can detect the PFOA of textiles rapidly and effectively.
