- Abstract
This article describes the profile of children receiving physiotherapy treatment at a school clinic of a public university. The study was conducted between February 2022 and April 2023 and collected data on sex, age, clinical diagnosis, area of treatment, number of treatments, associated health condition, use of assistive technology, and parents' education level. Fifty children were treated, with an average age of 4.16 years, and 66% were boys. The most frequent areas of treatment were neurofunctional (72%) and musculoskeletal (16%). The predominant health conditions were cerebral palsy (34%) and developmental delay (12%). Only 20% of the children used assistive technology.
