- Abstract
This article reports a case of a 41-year-old male patient who suffered multiple facial fractures due to an accident. The patient was referred to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology team at the University Hospital of UFMS. After physical and tomographic examinations, fractures were identified in the bilateral mandibular condyle, left mandibular body, and left ipsilateral zygomatic-orbital complex. The treatment consisted of installing the Erich arch bar, maxillo-mandibular block, reduction and osteosynthesis of mandibular and mid-face fractures, and non-surgical reduction of the left condyle fracture. The treatment was effective and restored the patient's function.
