- Abstract
Colonic volvulus is the axial twisting of the colon on its vascular pedicle and accounts for less than 5% of all cases of intestinal obstructions. It is most common in elderly patients with multiple comorbities, or in neuropsychiatric patients. We report a case of asymptomatic sigmoid volvulus in young healthy man.
