- Abstract
The article presents a case study on the importance of conducting conservation activities that intend to protect the population of Pacific salmon at the Upper Columbia River basin in Washington. The integration of the reserve site selection (RSS) model to the population variability analysis (PVA) model were used to be able to create alternatives to improve the habitat of Pacific salmon. This has led to the analysis on the cost-efficiency of watersheds considering it as a conservation measure.
