- Abstract
The article analyzes the correlation between the size of duplicated sequences of nucleotides and the outcome in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients. The article studies the molecular characteristics of the internal tandem duplication of fms-like tyrosine kinase 3-FLT3 gene (FLT3/ITDs). The article also presents that internal tandem duplication does not add to prognosis assessment on adult AML patients.
