- Abstract
The article focuses on the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) atmospheric carbon dioxide observations from space (ACOS) retrieval algorithm. It highlights the experiments which are used to evaluate retrieval errors in clouds and aerosols, polarized non-Lambertian surfaces, and imperfect meteorology. It found out that post-retrieval filters are important to eliminate the poorest retrievals.
