- Abstract
The article presents a study investigating the level of agreement between skin temperatures measured from the back and the abdomen and rectal temperatures in infants' first week of life. After examining the newborn infants admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with a gestational age (GA) of 24-43 week, correlations between skin temperature and rectal temperature were found best in the lowest birth weight (BW) group.
