- Abstract
The author discusses a study on the importance of the identification of subtypes among children with unilateral cerebral palsy (CP). He explains that children with a subtype CP often require surgical or orthopedic interventions. She commends the research on the association of gait pattern to requirement for therapy. She focuses on the usefulness of the Gross Motor Function Classification System as an assessment tool.
