- Abstract
Promoted Hydrogenolysis of Furan Aldehydes to 2,5-Dimethylfuran by Defect Engineering on Pd/NiCo2O4 B The Cover Feature b shows catalytic hydrogenolysis of biobased furan aldehydes (5-methylfurfural, 5-hydroxymethylfurfural) into 2,5-dimethylfuran over various NiCo SB 2 sb O SB 4 sb -supported palladium catalysts. The oxygen defects, Lewis acidity, and Brønsted acidity of catalysts are systematically investigated, providing clear insights into the cooperative catalysis between different active sites.
