- Abstract
B Safety, tolerability, and efficacy of up-titration of guideline-directed medical therapies for acute heart failure (STRONG-HF): a multinational, open-label, randomized, trial. B I Significance: i b In patients who undergo PCI and complete a course of dual antiplatelet therapy, long-term treatment with clopidogrel monotherapy was associated with lower rate of clinical events and lower rate of bleeding compared to aspirin monotherapy. While the original study is a randomized trial, in this extension phase, the patients were given an open-labeled treatment and the antiplatelet therapy was determined by the treating physician.
