- Abstract
Dear Editor, Eosinophilic dermatosis of myeloproliferative (EDM) disease or insect bite-like reaction is a rare, cutaneous, autoimmune manifestation of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) [[1]-[4]]. Since the patient did not otherwise meet the criteria for CLL-directed therapy, continued management of Sweet's syndrome with steroids was pursued; however, attempts to taper steroids caused recurrence of lesions. The role of CLL-specific therapy in such a scenario is controversial as there is no consistent correlation between the occurrence of EDM and CLL stage [[1]].
