- Abstract
The article examines the state of prostate cancer (PCa) screening in Canada. Topics include the high incidence of PCa in Canadian men and the benefits and risks associated with prostate-specific antigen (PSA) screening; the financial barriers and inequities in screening access, such as Black and Indigenous men, are disproportionately affected; and the need for more context-specific research to address these disparities and improve screening practices.
