- Abstract
This article, published in the journal "Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology," examines the pregnancy outcomes of patients with intrauterine twin pregnancy complicated by ectopic pregnancy after assisted reproductive technology. The study analyzed the medical records of 42 patients and found that the live birth rate was 81.0%, with a preterm birth rate of 31.0% and a full-term birth rate of 50%. The study suggests that assisted reproductive technology may increase the incidence of this complication, but the incidence has decreased with the reduction of multiple embryo transfers. The findings are important for improving the safety of pregnancy for patients undergoing assisted reproductive technology.
