- Title
Titanium dioxide: New anode material for batteries.
- Abstract
The article offers information on the research conducted by Chris Johnson and Tijana Rajh of Argonne National Laboratory, which focuses on the use of anode material as alternative for lithium in rechargeable batteries. It says that the anode, which is called amorphous titanium dioxide nanotubes (TiO2) is a material based in titanium dioxide. It says that titanium dioxide is much better than lithium because it does not easily catch fire.
