- Title
How plants direct their seeds.
- Abstract
The article discusses a study that investigated how seeds are actively sent by plants to sites suitable for growth through wind or water. Topics covered include observations of researchers on plant species that grow on the shorelines, on wetlands and on permanently dry uplands. Findings indicated the efficiency of plants in using air and water as the mode of transportation similar to animal-dispersed plant species.
