- Abstract
The article presents a speech by M. Daniel Smith of Earlham College, Indiana, delivered at the Association for the Education of Teachers in Science's dinner meeting held October 28, 1961. He comments on the paper "Implications of Automation for Teaching of Science." He also presents a brief illustration of an attitude toward teaching which resulted from research in programmed instruction.
