- Abstract
Original content of concept of democracy depends on consideration of the society as a sphere of plurality. The comprehension of modern human being, reducing the subjectivity to particular interest, has presented political concepts transcending plurality through consensus. Liberalism as an approach which is grounded on consensus, destructs the dynamics of the relations between differences and also defines the society as a stable structure. Such a liberal perspective contrasting the view that democracy should be an inter-subjective mode of living, has nothing but a principal of neutrality against the claims of identity emerging in contemporary societies. In the terms of democracy such situation results in neglecting the differences. Radical democracy is a significant political comprehension attempting to find a solution to such crisis of democracy through recognition of the plurality.
