- Abstract
Nowadays, evidence shows that, the ILS' domestic legal systems are moving toward international adjudication, laying the ground-work for conflict management according to international law (p. 238). 1. When considering the issue of Islamic law States (ILS) using international courts or tribunals to resolve a dispute, the reaction tends to be strong skepticism. The answer to the, "sharia-international law nexus puzzle", lies in "the diversity of how secular and religious laws fuse in domestic legal systems across the Islamic milieu" (p. 8).
