- Abstract
The article discusses a study related to the up gradation of the organic compound benzotrifluoride (BFT) by the means of dioxygenase pathway in Rhodococcus sp. Topics discussed include proteomic analysis of cells grown with or without BTF for investigating the mechanism of the degradation of BTF, induction of three proteins responsible for isopropylbenzene degradation from Rhodococcus erythropolis by BTF and recovering the defluorinating ability of the mutant strain by complementation of BTF.
