The article focuses on RNA sequencing technique study which is used for trancriptome analysis to identify putative floral-specific and flowering regulatory-related genes in Sweet Potato. Topics discussed include detection of putative floral-specific and putative vegetative specific transcripts, sweet potato perform asexual reproduction and vegetative transcriptome was integrated with the floral transcriptome. It also mentions scanning of each transcript of Open reading frames (ORFs).
