- Abstract
The unambiguous experimental evidence that grain boundary sliding and shear banding are important mechanisms of plasticity in ultrafine‐grained Pd with an average grain size of 134 nm was obtained using in situ scanning electron microscopy combined with orientation imaging techniques.
