- Abstract
The article presents a study on the effects of temperature, humidity and rainfall on captan decline on apple leaves and fruits exposed in a controlled temperature and environment conditions. This paper focuses on the importance of captan as the choice fungicide in disease control in horticultural crops. These experiments were done to investigate the relationship of captan loss on apple leaves and on fruits in dry conditions. Variability in captan residues were examined to determine the factors in controlled application.
