- Abstract
The Southern Michigan/Northern Indiana Drift Plains Ecoregion in the United States occurs in portions of two states in the American midwest. There are 21 species found here, representing 12 genera and four families (Acanthodrilidae, Lumbricidae, Megascolecidae and Sparganophilidae). Nine of the species are native (endemic) toNorth America; all the others are European or Oriental (exotic) introductions. A description of the ecoregion and six colour photographs are also included.
