- Abstract
Nine Men's Morris is a two player board game. The board consists of squares with twenty-four intersections or points. Nine Men's Morris game is fully observable which means that all conditions on the board and pieces can be perceived and assessed properly. This study looks at the effect of using algorithms in Nine Men's Morris game performance. Game performance is seen from the victory, the length of the number of lines, the length of the search. The use of Global Transposition Table (GTT) as a storage has advantages - where more storage thus providing more search space. This ability is due to the parallel nature of GTT. With GTT this is expected to be able to find solutions faster. The Global Transposition Table itself is a collection of several transposition tables in a larger transposition table. GTT can be likened to a folder that has many subfolders with each subfolder containing the same file type, and having the same file first name. So by combining the search algorithm and the use of GTT in the Nine Man's Morris game, it is expected to know the performance of the use of the Negascout Algorithm and also the additional effect of using GTT in the Nine Men's Morris puzzle game.
