- Abstract
The authors discuss the study regarding climate impact on high alpine species such as its distribution, abundance and survival. The authors state that the study aims to enumerate existing distributions, set up baselines to assess changes and evaluate fine-scale species-habitat relationships. The authors highlight the significance of identifying source-sink effects prior to drawing conclusions on the origins of altitudinal range shifts.
