- Abstract
The article presents information on legal developments in marketing relative to the regulation of unfair competition. The author cites a complaint filed by the United States Federal Trade Commission (F.T.C) against Consumer Products of America Inc. for deceptive advertising practices related to the sale of encyclopedias. Also noted is an F.T.C complaint filed against S & S Pharmaceutical Co. Inc. for alleged deceptive advertising to pharmacies. The author notes an F.T.C. case concerning Inter-State Builders Inc. and consumer witness statements.
